Dr Mohammed Al-Ansari

Dr Al-Ansari is a consultant Gastroenterologist who commenced working in Ballarat in 2012. He underwent his Physician and Gastroenterology training in New Zealand at the Auckland clinical training network, Waikato Hospital (Hamilton), Otago teaching hospital (Dunedin). Dr. Al-Ansari then worked in Middlemore hospital in Auckland/New Zealand where he undertook a research fellow position, during which he completed research projects in Capsule Endoscopy, and Colon imaging. He received an award for best research twice by the NZ society for Gastroenterology.
As well as consulting in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Ballarat & Grampians Private Practice and Ballarat Health Services, he has endoscopy sessions at St John of God Hospital Ballarat and Ballarat Health Services.
