What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of video-call between you and your clinician.
Telehealth reduces travel time and cost for patients, while also removing the stress of travel and provides a greater accessibility of specialist services to patients.

What you need to make a video call;

  • Any one of these: A computer, android tablet or iPad, an android smart phone or iPhone.

  • For android tablets, phones and home computers, you will need to download Google Chrome which is free on the internet.

  • For iPhone and iPads you will need to download the free HealthDirect App from the Apple Store (Safari will have native support from late-September 2018).

  • A microphone, Speakers or headphones.

  • A reliable internet connection
